Paintball Mines Create New Tactics

Paintball mines can totally change the playing field and degree of tactics used in a game. Paintball mines are "non-pyro" land mines that release paint or special powder when they are activated. There are several methods of activating paintball mines, some of which include step mines, burst discs and trip wires. Because the newest paintball mines can be hidden below the ground or disguised by loose leaves and brush, new tactics are being developed. These new methods of playing practice avoiding enemy mines and also leading opponents into your tactically placed mine

The first activation method available for paintball mines are step mines. This type releases paint upon the opponent stepping on the mine that is planted in the ground. Other paintball mines have burst disc technology that activates the release of paint or powder. Some paintball mines are activated by an ultra thin trip line you must set up. The most elite paintball mines are those that are programable with access codes so you can activate them when you see fit.

Paintball mines are powered by CO2 cartridges, typically 12 grams. Once activated, the mines release paint or special powder. The spray for most paintball mines is around 8 to 12 feet, but some mines have a 360 degree release design which can typically spray about 30 feet around.
